Historic Lake Oswego, on the edge of its namesake lake, is the pride of Clackamas County. Twice listed in Money Magazine as one of the 100 Best Places to Live, Lake Oswego’s charming downtown area, also known as First Addition, has successfully maintained a small-town community feel. The charming shops, restaurants and services along A Avenue and First Street attract visitors from Portland and nearby suburbs alike.

Like many communities in recent years, Lake Oswego also supports a farmers’ market for locally grown produce on Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., May through October at Millennium Park (1st and Evergreen Rd.).

The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is held in the latter part of every June at the Lakewood Center for the Arts and the nearby George Rogers Park.
