Grant Park is one of the neighborhood gems. Adjacent to Grant High School it is almost 20 acres and features tennis courts, a running track, soccer and softball fields and picnic tables. The park was the setting for many scenes in the Ramona series of children’s books by Beverly Cleary and features sculptures of some of her characters, including, of course, Ramona.
