Annexed to Portland in 1950, Multnomah is a neighborhood that’s successfully maintained its small-town community feel. Portland real estate in Multnomah is a continuum of styles from period Victorian through Craftsman, American bungalow, midcentury ranch, duplexes and contemporary townhomes.

The heart of the neighborhood, Multnomah Village is six miles from downtown Portland. Its southern border is formed by I-5 making it an easy commute by car or bike. The area is also well served by public transit.

Multnomah Village is something of a drawing card for many residents of adjacent neighborhoods and beyond. The thriving retail strip includes bookshops, art galleries, gift and antique shops, boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants.
