A repurposing of a historic warehouse, the Avenue Lofts reflect the history of loft living since artists began converting underused structures more than 50 years ago. The Avenue Lofts occupy the 1923 Meier & Frank Warehouse — a classic example of industrial warehouse.The units are open design floor plan, ranging from 760 to 1,600 sq. ft. The the Avenue Loft building is a contributing structure within The National Register of Historic Places. A key design element is a central atrium, a 5500 sf park open to the sky, hidden from the outside world and pedestrian only cobblestone street out front.
